Seafood paella in crockpot

I've always loved to cook so I improvise without recipes. I made the most outrageous seafood paella in the crockpot. Taste delicious. I put yellow rice in bottom, cut up tilapia, threw in shrimp and dumped a pound of scallops on top with a bag of mussels. I then poured a whole can of 10oz clam sauce and 2 cups of water. Originally I was going to throw a packet of Sazon in but when I tasted the final product it didn't need any. So good! I'd say in total I had it in for 7-8 hrs.

I'm terrified of cooking seafood in the crockpot! Heck I don't like chicken in there after about 6 hours!

I agree for the most part which is why I try to overcooked vs undercooked. The first time I ever taste undercooked beef, chicken or seafood will probably be the last time I crockpot anything.

This sounds delicious, but I'm curious about cooking shrimp, fish and scallops for so long. Could you post your entire recipe?

I tried this once long ago, but followed a recipe that had me add seafood much later than the rice, spices and chorizo. It was a pain to keep going back and adding stuff, kinda defeated the purpose of the crock pot. But I'd love to try again! Love paella!!!
