Sears furniture - anyone have a problem with delivery?
I ordered a table and chairs from Sears.com a week and a half ago and the status hasn't changed. The order said it would be received by 2/10.
Monday I called and was told it's a vendor item and could take up to 3 weeks. So that would be 2/26. And that they would check with the vendor and have an answer by today.
I call today and am told it could be 4 weeks, not 3. Now it's 3/5. And that the vendor hasn't answered, so no status update for me.
I'm shopping around for other options again, even though I didn't find anything we really liked last time.
JCPenney was so fast, am I spoiled? If they're not just blowing smoke up my @ss, is 4 weeks for delivery normal?
I guess I'm a mite p*ssed too because when we made the order, we were mislead. First it was 3-7 business days, then 3 weeks, now 4 weeks. I could cancel without penalty right now since it's not even in the processing stage.
