How long should you TTC before you see an RE?

I would say about 1 year unless you are older (I hate using that term..lol) then about 6 months. Have you spoken to your OB/GYN
eta: I was trying about 10 months and my OB/GYN wasn't running any tests..he wanted to wait and see...well I got impatient and went to an RE...It took me a total of 14 months before I got pregnant. Good luck!

Technically they say if you have been trying 6 months or more if you are over 35 you should go. 1 year or more under age 35.
We went after about 9-10 months because we were temping, using OPKS, charting and timing it perfect and really felt something was wrong ( we are glad we did )
