Seeing two rehabs tomorrow
Southside in Bayshore
Glen Cove Hospital
I may also try to see Jamaica.
Anyone know anyone who has gone to rehab or anything about these places.
Jamaica Hospital and Southside are accredited TBI programs. Glen Cove has TBI rehab but not accredited.
I'm looking for real life feedback or professional feedback.

My co-workers daughter was in the TBI program at Southside.
She wasn't to happy with the aides. She felt they were understaffed. But she was very happy with the therapy her daughter received.Once she finished the program there she was transferred to John J Foley in Bellport.

She was there 10/06-12/06.
She was looking into Jamaica also, but they didn't have a bed available at the time.

thanks..I really appreciate the feedback.
This is hard. I'm taking off a half day to see places then going to see Fred at the hospital. Poor guy doesn't have a lot of visitors. I feel compelled to go almost every day and I just can't.
Good thing he has an aide to keep him company.
