Self Feeding Question
At around what age did your babypops decide that they wanted to feed themselves and started to do so with some positive effect???
Noah is 9.475 months and I think he should be wanting to do more self feeding, tonight I gave him some pieces of turkey and apple meatballs that I made for him (which we delish I must say) and he just shoved them all into his mouth, then chewed a little bit, and then spit them out in a sputum filled mess...
Should I keep trying??

Re: Self Feeding Question
DD has been self feeding for about 2 months now, maybe a little more (she's 9 1/2 months). We started with cheerios broken in half, then puffs. When she refused baby food on a spoon, I knew it was all over.
Maybe he just had too much in his mouth? DD does this too when her mouth is jam packed.
Try pancakes or banana!
