Selling: Colors for Kids Rooms
When viewing a house for sale is it better for kids room to look like kids rooms or like bedrooms?
My kids rooms are currently painted light light pink and my son has a light navy-ish blue.
Same paint schemes or neutral?

IMO - as long as they are not off the wall colors (and yours sound fine), I would leave as is.

Agreed -- I think it's ok to have kids' rooms have color on the walls, especially colors that are expected for a kid's room (e.g., light pink, blue). And if a home is the type of home that would appeal to a family, then it may actually help them see the house as a "home" and envision their family living there.
Some things that I have run into with kids' rooms and that should be avoided when selling:
1. Ultra dark (black, blood red) colors - I've seen this in teenagers' rooms mostly -- that can make a room look like a cave,
2. Tons of posters on the walls, or large, taste-specific murals, or a lot of decals of things like cartoon characters -- generally, these things are too distracting and busy and are most likely something a buyer would want to change, and
3. Too many toys/too much clutter stuffed into a bedroom. Less is always more in bedrooms -- all rooms, really, but especially kids' bedrooms which tend to be the smallest rooms in the house and where you want to evoke a calm, restful atmosphere.
Good luck!
