Accept cash only. Disregard any e-mails saying they will send you a certified check or money order. Cash all the way!

I have sold a few things. Keep in mind that most people will not show when they say they will. Also I would make sure that someone is home with you when anyone comes to your home. Accepting cash only was also a good piece of advice. Lastly, most people are looking for a bargain and will offer a lower price than the asking price.....Good luck!!

thank you all for the info.
our dryer died. we bought a washer and dryer set. i'm selling the old washing machine. it's still good, but since we have the new set, i'm getting rid of the old.
i'll be taking a picture of it to include in the post.
again, thanks for the advice and info
