Sending Flowers-suggestions
I want to send flowers to a friend in Boston. I would like it for Sun delivery and 1800flowers wont do it that soon.
Any other suggestions?
Or a site that sends some nice gifts?
TIA!

Re: Sending Flowers-suggestions
I know my friend works in a florist. I think they work within a network that they can find out a florsit in the area in which you would like to send an arrangement and they will work with your florist.
If you don't want to do flowers - you can try Harry and David, we used them all the time and there stuff is great

I would look on line for local florists in the town that your friend lives in and call them directly. See if one of them can help.

Yes, local flower shops are the best way to go. Also cheaper since you aren't paying an FTD fee or the like.

Re: Sending Flowers-suggestions
Definitely check the yellow pages (I always use the online distance search) for the local florist.
I would rather call my mother's local florist in Co. Wicklow, Ireland, than pay an international florist. The last time I even asked them to buy a bottle of wine from the wine store down the street and they delivered that to my Dad.

you can call your florist, as for an FTD to be sent to her...they will call the local florist and they should be able to send it on a Sunday.
