Sensitive Skin Kids....

Em's got uber sensitive skin - we've been working with a routine of a bath every other day and SOAKING her in CeraVe cream, since seeing a dermatologist.

So far, this process is fantastic. We use the CeraVe bath stuff as well and so far, we haven't had a single eczema outbreak for at least 2 months now!

The issue is her face...i feel like the ceraVe is too 'thick' for her face....typically when we use it on her face, the next day, she'll have a zit....i'm really thinking it's the cream.... i just noticed this pattern this week, because for almost the last week, she'll break out within a day of her bath...

we don't want to use the ceraVe lotion - because the derm. said that lotion, by nature, always contains alcohol which is drying...and when we WERE using the lotion on her face - she still had bright red, dry cheeks....which by using the CREAM, that bright, dry redness has stopped, but the zits have started...

so - long story to get to THIS question....

what cream do you use on your toddlers' sensitive skin ON THEIR FACE?

I'm no help but just wanted to say we suffer from the same exact issue. I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place with his eczema. Lotion that's good for his body AND face, but his eczema is on fire this winter and nothing is making it go away, not even the prescpription stuff. But the Cerve did make his legs and belly look better.

honestly - at this point - i don't care....i'll use 2 different ones...but i just don't know WHICH would be good enough - ya know??

i'm so glad we FINALLY made some headway on her body though! she has baby soft skin again - for the first time in a LONG time!
