Sensitive stomach a sign of labor?

I have 1 more week until my due date. Last night and today my stomach feels like it has been through h*ll and back. Haven't been sick but definitely going to the bathroom more than usual. Is this a sign that things are maybe about to happen? Went to the doctor yesterday with no change from the week prior (1 cm, 50% effaced, cervix long). I have an induction date of August 30th and I am hoping it doesn't come to that!

**I have also had a very minimal appetite the past few days.

It certainly could be. And don't always go by how far you've progressed, that can change very quickly. I was induced with my first DS and was scheduled to be induced with my second DS. I had an internal on a Monday morning with little progress- I was only 1-2cm and slightly effaced. I went into labor on my own that night/morning at 1am and had a baby by 7am.

I was 35 weeks when I had DS, but I went to the bathroom like 10 times the day before...

Re: Sensitive stomach a sign of labor?

It could be. On Tuesday of the week I had DD I was 0% effaced and not dilated at all.

I was in labor at 1am on Thursday. I could only eat small amounts and I was going to the bathroom a lot more often. Feel better and hang in there!Chat Icon
