DS is 5 years old. Outgrew some of his delays, or better yet also knows how to deal better with some.
He does have sensory issues, but has gotten SOOOO much better with handling them and communicating when something is wrong instead of screaming or crying.

I do know that at night it's worse since he's half asleep and discombobulated he can't get his sensory issues under control as well so it effects his sleep. Not always, but some nights. He has a cold now so he'll wake up sniffling and whining, but can't figure out why he's crying when I ask. He eventually goes back to sleep. Worst was potty training a couple of years ago. Once he got the feeling he had to go he would wake at night crying if he felt the urge. I had to go ask him 100 times before he figured out htat was the reason he wasn't sleeping. If he's itchy or pajamas ride up. He hardly goes during the night. Thank goodness he's a camel and goes before bed and good till morning.

Anyone else have a LO similar? WHen he's having a good night he can be a good sleeper, but he tends to get up maybe twice a week with something off that he can't tell me what's wrong. Worse when he's sick of course.
