Separation Anxiety?
When does it begin?
DD has been so clingy - DH thinks she's getting spoiled.... I'm not so sure.

Re: Separation Anxiety?
I think around 8 months. I was just watching that Baby Human show and it said separation anxiety begins when crawling begins.

Re: Separation Anxiety?
We have been going through it for a bit now so I'd say 8 months also. There are times when she wants NOONE but me! She also started having problems with sleep then too because of the separation anxiety and probably because of her teeth too.

Re: Separation Anxiety?
DD is 7 months and we used to be able to put her down and give her some toys to play with and walk away for a few minutes to start a load of laundry or what not and now she has started to fuss if she is left alone.

The problems with sleep - Will she not go to bed? Or wakes up too early? or both?
For the last week we have had to put DD in the car and do hero laps around the block to get her to fall asleep.
We have let her CIO in the past and has been a great sleeper until now. I tried to let her CIO tonight and she puked! I don't know what to do & could use some help.

Re: Separation Anxiety?
Since Birth seriously it seems like forever.....when I leave the room my DD will start this whiny thing and when I come back she smiles and gives this nervous laugh...its really cute but when I need to do something its hard as she will miss me after a few minutes and forget about anyone else settling her when she wakes up...if my DH goes to her she becomes more awake and starts crying really, really hard until I take her.....she is 6 1/2 months now.
