Separation Anxiety my 1yr old is again sleeping in our room Need advice BTDT ...

so its been 4 nights now that DS is sleeping in the pack and play in our room . he went from sleping through the night in his nursery to now screaming and crying and up all night in there.

we are exhusted and at a loss to this new stage. out of frustration i have put him in the palypen so when he wakes during the night (2-3) times he sees me and goes back to sleep ..

how long does this stage last and is there anything i can do to ease his fear at night ?????? he is fine during the day and naps in his crib but does wake crying until i get to him.
could this also have been bought on from his recent stay in the hospital???

im so tired any advice would be great

I have no advice for you, just wanted to offer you I do think that your sleeping issue is caused by his stay in the hospital, as well as his feeling ill. My DS is just getting over the flu and has been getting up several times a night also.

I am having trouble with my 1 year old..It is such a nightmare..and I am so tired..I wish I had advice. CIO doesn't work for me..cause she just keeps on crying.

I swear you are always right behind me with these things.

About 3 weeks ago we went through this. I did not know if it was his shots or what, but he just needed me all the time.

One night, maybe a week later, he snapped out of it.

We have now resorted to the WORST bedtime routine...but it works for now.

I put him in the pack and play in the living room, turn off all the lights except the kitchen...he watches me clean, cook...gets bored and goes to sleep. Then I move him into his bed.

Last night he was up at 1:30, then again at 5. I just stand at his gate and ask him to get back to bed. he crawls back in(which is huge since he always wanted out of his room)...I give him a minute...then I go in and either feed or just lay there.
