I propose Azerbaijan -- it's a nice little restaurant on Old Country Road, next to Baci. Great food, good prices, and we won't get kicked out, that's for sure!
Actually this is the place I wanted to read Reading Lolita in Tehran for...but couldn't get into the book so haven't been able to suggest the place -- until now!! 
Maybe every other month we can do a pot luck??

I may actually try to crash this meeting, as I actually read that book.
But I must say I cant seem to wrap my head around "really good" and "Afghani place" in the same sentance

This book was amazing.
I can truthfully say that it may be one of the best I have ever read and that is saying a lot as I am an avid reader.

I'm so bummed....
I'm going to have to miss the meeting this month
My friend put in for us to get tickets to Chorus Line on Broadway through TDF and we had to give a bunch of dates and of course we got the 19th.
I so wanted to talk about this book, because I'm halfway through and loving it.
Hope you guys have fun and if anyone wants to discuss here after I finish it...that would great!
Definitely let me know what the next book and date for the meeting is going to be!!

I loved this book and being the sap I am, I was crying at the end. Can someone tell me what to expect from Ahgan cuisine? If there is a lot of curry used in cooking I might have to pass on this meeting too.
