Seriously I cant believe how sick DD still is

It going to be week tomorrow with her having a fever. ANd she still not eating and drinking as much. The dr. wants to run more blood work tomorrow if she still has a fever. Is it normal for a virus to take over a week to run its course. she seems like shes getting better one minute then she has another set back. Her cough sounds Horrible. Thanks for letting me vent

I never heard of a fever running that long, but I know they say the fever isn't the problem - that a fever is actually ok since it is the body fighting infection.. alot of Dr.'s want to see how the child is acting, making sure they are eating and not lethargic.

I would go to the dr. for any tests they want.

That really is disconcerting - Cailen was sick for almost a week during Christmas and it really was so hard to go thru...
