Also-she's one...all you have to do is get her out of the car and put her in the cart...whats so hard? F'in moron. I have twins and live in NC and I sweat my azz off each and every day hauling them around and would never event THINK about this. WWTEFFFFFFFFF

I can't believe they released that little girl back into her mother's care. Sorry but that is ridiculous! Had those police NOT found that little girl and gotten her out of the car she probably would've died. Clearly this poor child has an extremely unfit mother. Unfortunately, I am sure for this little girl there will be a "next time". So reckless. Some parents!! 
Money talks. Im sure they thought it was an accident, and how could a mom driving a benz, be so irresponsible.
I hate reading stories like this. I want to smack this mother right in the head.

This upsets me so much. I have a one year old baby and I am so terrified of him getting ACCIDENTALLY locked in the hot car that I open all the windows in the car before I put him in. I want not a single chance for him to be accidentally locked in that car with the windows not open. And I kid you not, I will walk to the car in the parking lot, open it, open all the windows while I'm holding him, then go back and put him in. This terrifies me and I am sick reading this
i do this too, i never have all of the doors or windows closed until I am IN the car.
This happened last week at my DH office.....someone went inside a nearby store and left the kid in the parking lot in the car with the WINDOWS UP no less. The cops were called, by the father came out before they got there and was all " what shes fine, i wasnt gone that long"

Did you see what they did to the News 12 reporter who asked for the family's side of the story?
I know this story isn't funny at all but....I can't help but crack up at the reaction.

This is going to sound absolutely nuts and out of left field, but something about this story and something in me says this chick is a drug addict or something. I don't know why I think that, but it's just how I see this playing out for some reason.

Seriously...millions is putting it lightly in that area. The mom or whomever answered the door had snob written all over her. I think the mom looked normal if I looked at the right pic, I am getting the impression of I am who I am n I do no wrong ever. Who knows though.
I would have def broke the window mimed n called the cops. I will not even leave my kids for one second while I run onto a store where I can watch them. Through the window..my poor friend is a example of that, one second left in the car he pops in the cigarette lighter as a two year old n his mom finds some woman got him out after he was and the car was engulfed in flames. He now lives severely severely disfigured.
What is so important to ever leave a baby in the car??? Or even a pet??? Give me a freaking break.

1. One or more posters thought this woman was a drug addict and she could have been scoring drugs in that parking lot. One poster even says she saw the same woman, in the same lot the day before on a cell phone, smoking a cigarette pacing back and forth. OF course, who knows?? Anyone can post anything on a thread.
2. Another poster goes so far as to accuse the mother of trying to kill the child. Leave her in the car, make it look like an accidental death... a mother who just forgot. She's 26 and lives with her mother (child's grandmother) in that house.
