Sesame Place trip in 1 day?

Is it doable to do the trip back and forth with DS (almost 2) in 1 day or not worth it?

TIA

We plan on doing it in one day but we live about an hour away from SP. I think we will try to leave at 8 am to get there when the park opens.

I'd say it's possible. We're going to leave around 6am, get to Sesame Place and stay all day, then stay at a hotel for that night...then head back home the next day. We just wanted to be able to unwind a bit before getting back in the car.

I did it.
Made it there before park opened and had breakfast with characters.
We enjoyed the whole park, even while my dd napped. ( we went with my sis, BIl and niece).

IMO, i dont think you need to stay overnite.

Re: Sesame Place trip in 1 day?

I think that it is definitely doable, but how your DC will handle it will definitley depend on your child.

We went last year when DD was 22 months and at that point she was still napping 2x a day - there was no way we could have done it in one day without a major meltdown.

We ended up driving on a Thursday morning, eating luch and going to the park. We stayed until closing, checked into our hotel and then got dinner. The next morning we had breakfast with the characters and then stayed til about 2-3 and then drove home. DD still managed to get her meltdown in on the second day - right before we left.

This scheudule worked out pretty well for us though, since she napped on the way there and on the way home. We were home around dinner time on Friday and I feel like we definitely had enough time in the park.
