Re: Sesame Street Live “Elmo Makes Music” is coming to Long Island, NY!
I just got tickets. He will be 22 months.. I ordered 2 tickets for hubby and me. DS is going to sit on my lap. I then read that any child who has had their 1st birthday must have their own ticket. How much do they adhere to that rule? I can't get another ticket. I didn't even think about it. We took him to the circus last month and he didn't need a ticket. Am I going to have to take him by myself?

When we went to Elmo's Green Thumb at MSG in February, they definitely checked for all tickets (she was 19 months).

You must have a ticket. It clearly says that. They enforce it. You and everyone else would sit their DC on their lap. Not being harsh, just saying. We went to see Elmo there a few mths ago and yes, you must have a ticket for all.

It wasn't that clear. It was in a small box on the upper right corner of the screen. I just happened to go back and look AFTER I ordered the tickets. We are going to take our chances and go any way. There is no way I can get another ticket for the seat next to me now...I understand that they make a cutoff on the age, but I thought it was 2 not 1. My son will never sit in the seat by himself. He will never be able to see anything...

Whether he can see or not though, it's a kid's show therefore kids must also pay for a seat if over 1. We took DD when she was under 2. She sat in her seat and could still see, b/c the seats there are on an incline not flush with the stage (unless you are on the ground level). Only telling you this b/c you may likely go together but one person will have to stay out when they enforce the rules.

Why wouldn't you just buy a third ticket ANYWHERE for entry since you think our son will sit on your lap anyway?

When I select the $15 tickets , it bumps the price up to $27, is that right?
