Sex prior to TTC
May be a TTC question so if you dont feel comfortable asking then please dont 
Has your sex life increased since TTC only because you are TTC or has your sex life remained the same?
My answer: Unfortunately DH and I dont have as much sex now (not TTC yet) then we'd like. Sometimes Im just not in the mood due to stress or just being tired yknow? Sometimes hes very tired too...we may have sex once a week or once every two weeks   . But I know once we start TTC in Nov. I WILL MAKE IT happen as much as possible in order to get my BFP

Our sex life has def changed We used to have a very active sex life but due to pressures, stress, etc. Its just not the same. We were actually just talking about this and I know one of my problems is I feel like poo all the time. I have put on weight since the wedding so that def drops my sex drive. I have been eating crap so that screw w/the way I feel. I have decided that in prep for us to TTC, I am going to get back to the gym and eat healthy so I feel good about myself...I of course really want to enjoy the process  As for DH, I told him I need more romance. Lately its been very "wham bam thank you mame" & i hate that!!!! So i feel like we are both committed to get things back in shape  Hopefully we will & can enjoy the process!!!!

Ours has changed so drastically since i went off BCP. I am so much more in the mood, that it has been wonderful. Prior to TTC, the frequency was at an all time low, but now its been great!
TTCing kind of makes it a "chore" but we don't mind.

our sex life has gotten better actually since TTC... it was not bad b4, but same as you- often too tired or stressed.
Now bc of TTC I am initiating things more often. Also, this past month I tried to make it more interesting and not like a chore and its been fun! He knows when I am Oing but i didnt stress about BD timing as much as previous months...
def. make it fun- quickies b4 you go somewhere and dont be shy to whip out any old sexy halloween costumes hehee

we r not ttc until dec ...our bd has been good and i hopes it stays that way when we ttc..
we r kinda making up for lost times because after the mc i had no desire for a while to even have sex because of what happened and i need some time to get back in the mood

Thanks ladies! Its good to know Im not alone on this. I have read that BCP can decrease your desire for sex..I think that was partly my case...now Ive been off BCP for 1mth and Im hoping it picks up. However, when I think about TTC and I think I'll be all over him but its simply to TTC yknow.

From my experience TTC is a chore. It is very hard for us to be romantic or anything because it is scheduled and when it is everyday after a long day it is really not fun. I'm sure not everyone feels like this it is just my honest experience.

DH and I never went for any Guiness book of records with the amount of times we did it in 1 month, that's for sure.
We do have our occasional romps just for fun, in addition to our planned 3 or 4 days in a row around CD10-14 so I think it has increased during TTC

i was only on bcp for 2 brief stints in my life. both times i was a homicidal lunatic, and i always say it's the best form of contraception because if anyone had tried to touch me in a sexual way, i probably would have stabbed them in the eye, lol.
so you can see why i wasn't on them for very long.
