"Sexy" Halloween costumes
Why do some women feel the need to use Halloween as an excuse to let out their inner tramp?! I was shopping for a halloween costume the other day and saw a bunch of ladies in their early 30's trying on & buying costumes that were so revealing it was ridiculous-Im not a prude, but they were just so innapropriate...(btw...these girls DIDNt have the bodies to be wearing them in public!) It was like a contest "who can be the closest to naked and get away with it bc its halloween" Sometimes ladies, less is NOT more... Sorry, just had to get that off my chest!

I think its the one day where any woman no matter what her size can let her guard down and have fun. I support Halloween and if a woman wants to be sexy, more power to her.

I used to be one of the those women. It's one day and its fun to be something you normally aren't. There is no harm in it at all.
ETA: I am pregnant this year, however I plan to tramp it up again next halloween

Re: "Sexy" Halloween costumes
i don't feel "the need" but the reality is most costumes (at least store bought) are skimpy and revealing. it is difficult to find cute ones that aren't. i am a 0 so to find a size that fits me is nearly impossible. while i agree that plus size gals should probably not wear some of those being sold but he!! if they are comfortable and confident, then good for them.
i bought these 2 costumes and plan to mix the tops w/ the skirts or wear a different shirt. depending how they fit, i am either going to be a scottish beer wench or irsh beer wench. Image Attachment(s):

i heart you kerry. lol
i can't lie--i have a 'slutty' halloween costume. its not revealing per say--a naughty nurse costume that is short and shows off the "girls" nicely....but i'm not having to place it strategically or anything to stop a wardrobe malfunction. (btw i'm a big girl) lol
if you look at adult halloween costumes these days, either they are VERY provacative or huge tents. i'd rather just slut it up for one nite. why not?
however i do think sometimes ppl put on costumes that are a little TOO much---but hey, that's their personal style and whatever works for them.
ETA: i have both these costumes--i'm likely wearing the nurse one, but the surgeon is in high contention...both of these were designed for "plus sized" chicas like myself

Re: "Sexy" Halloween costumes
b/c there is nothing wrong with a grown woman being "sexy" or even SLUTTY once and a while.
what do YOU think is an appropriate halloween costume for a grown woman?
I personally don't like it when "grown ups" dress up like Giant Oreos or milk cartons. I think it's childish..but if THEY are having FUN, that is all that counts.
and quite honestly, while I wouldn't do it, I do get enjoyment out of it.
why be so uptight about a night that is meant to be fun and a lil crazy?
maybe us sexy wenches are the key to warding off those evil spirits!
and, for the record, I am a stewardess for T & A airlines. (but I will have shorts under my dress so my "A" isn't served up on a platter )

thanks! bought them online and hope to get them by today or tomorrow. skirts look really short but then again the models are really tall. i am 5' 2" so they will most likely be longer on me. IMO they are cute and fun, not trampy and trashy.

Re: "Sexy" Halloween costumes
Hmmm - The opportunity to dress a bit 'slutty' for ONE night out the year is fun - Especially being someone who is pretty conservative, modest AND has to wear a suit every single day -
However, I DO have to agree with you about those who "shouldn't" (IMO) be wearing certain things due to the fact that they don't have a fabulous figure (like myself) - But I would say that about a bathing suit, a dress, a pair of jeans - etc. - Not only about Halloween. - I was in the Halloween Store last night and walked out hysterically laughing - My cousin convinced me to try on this 'Goldilocks' costume - one of those really adorable too short, too low cut things - Well, it technically FIT my body, but it didn't look GOOD on my body (at least I didn't think so........) But as I'm leaving, I see girls twice my size (and I'm no size 6 to begin with) buying these outfits, the Thigh Highs, the F-me hooker boots .....etc. I'm ALL for people being confident in themselves (I wish I was that confident) i'm all for feeling sexy - But really ?? Some are just delusional .........

sometimes what you consider "delusional" is part and parcel of being confident.
actually, your own lack of confidence and insecurity is probably what fuels your "opinions" of what these more confident women are wearing.
just b/c YOU don't think they look good or sexy, doesn't mean THEY don't or their friends or their SO's or anyone that may see them.
play up you ASSets and go for it.

Re: "Sexy" Halloween costumes
This reminds me of the 90210 episode where Kelly dresses as a sexy vampire/witch because she wants to take advantage of the fact that its Halloween to meet a guy and be someone she isnt. Well we all know where that wound up..she was almost raped! I loved that episode..I have no other thoughts..just thats what this post brought to mind!
