Shampoo suggestions for a NB with a very dry scalp

My 7 week old has such a dry scalp. I was using johnsons which I forgot was very drying. My Ped suggested t-gel but it smells horrible. Anything other suggestions would be great!

Mustula makes a newborn foaming shampoo that is amazing. I'm still using it on my 9 month old!

We use this too. DS had horrendous cradle cap, Mustela was the only thing that worked

Mustela worked great for my granddaughter. she's a little over 6 mos. and still using it. Dr. told her not to use any Johnsons products because they may have an effect on her. So all the Johnson products my daughter bought, got returned!

Great...going to pick up the mustella today. I tried the oil on him last night and it helped a great deal. I had to rinse it out with the t gel which smells gross.

Re: Shampoo suggestions for a NB with a very dry scalp

My DD had bad cradle cap and this is what I did that worked so well and it went away. I would put baby oil on her head and leave it on for 10 min, then I took a soft tooth brush and gently scrubbed her head while she was in the bath (she loved it Chat Icon )You'll see all the dry flakes coming off then I used the J&J shampoo to wash it out and it was amazing what a difference it made even the first time.
