the last time you went to a bridal shower. Could be the favor, centerpieces, decor, etc. Looking for ideas. Thank you for suggestions!

Good food and drinks (I love brunch food and mimosas), not being forced to play games and sit for endless amounts of time watching gifts be opened, edible favors

I LOVE when you're left alone to just eat and socialize and you aren't forced to partake in a bunch of boring party games.

ETA - I also love when presents are opened throughout the party instead of one looooooong marathon of ooooing and aaahhhing at everything for 3 hrs straight.

This!!
And lots of booze/good variety of booze

And no cheesy games. I like to be left alone.
Last one I was at, they were coming around to collect this and that and all this crap that we had to fill out like it was a homework assignment.
I hid mine and the table and when they came I said I already handed it in.
Hate that styff

This! For my SIL's bridal shower we did a cooking show and didn't open gifts till later on so people who wanted to stay and watch could, but the party was over so some people left. We had someone come and do a demonstration. Also, gave out cake knives as the favor. Something you can actually use. TBH - even food gets tossed. I don't need more luggage tags, and never use a salt and pepper shaker. I do like bottle openers, measuring spoons and some edibles. No matter what you can't please everyone so do what's best for you and the family

Re: Share what you liked

Tough crowd lol. I dont mind them

Chit chat etc and let the girl open her cheese grater like we all did.

I don't mind bingo or the timer game

I would skip tp bride.

Something I've seen recently and I guess it saves time is wrapping in clear paper

So bride can hold them up and not have to actually unwrap

I like when kids are not invited. Gives me a reason not to go.
Hate showers of any sort. Didn't even want my own.

Keep it casual and social. No games.

Short in duration
Good food
No kids ( i mean that should be an obvious one anyway since it's a Bridal Shower
No more than one game and prefer the game that is just a timer set like every minute and if it goes off when your gift is being opened you get a prize.
Alcohol - more than a champagne punch, but I'll deal with it if it's just that.
Edible favor

Thanks! It was a lot of fun and the woman was great. Had us all help at some point and the food was great too.

I like keeping it short too.
Look, I'm not gonna say I love them, but will go for a friends and always fun to get out for a little while, but like others say.. keep it short.
Another one I went to had a timer. Instead of games the timer went off and if the bride was opening your gift you get a prize. This way people actually did pay attention.

Re: Share what you liked

No games
No assigned seating
No over done candy table that literally no one eats
maximum of 3 hours
Edible favors are good. No one wants a small scented candle or bottle opener.
Pick a location that doesn't require you to walk miles carrying gifts.
