Re: She stopped sleeping through the night
My dd is 16 weeks and just started this last week. I figured out it is because she is now teething.

Re: She stopped sleeping through the night
That's annoying! If it is teething related - could she be waking for a comfort nurse? Does she just seem starved? I've been giving Ryan a Hylands tablet at bedtime and he now only wakes once to nurse (about 3AM) and goes back down after 10-minutes til 7:30/8.

Re: She stopped sleeping through the night
No she is not really hungry. She just wants to comfort suck for about 5 mins and then is out again but is still very very fussy until she wakes again to comfort nurse. Im going to try the hylands. Do you just give it to Ryan at bedtime or when he wakes at 3am?

At bedtime (around 8:30PM). Also, my MD mentioned, if you think your DC is waking for a comfort nurse in the middle of the night try a water bottle - they'll eventually decide it's not worth waking up.
Does a pacifier help?

Oh Kristin... I just wanted to send you
If you think that Nina is teething, def do the Hyland's.... they are my saving grace!
I give them to her anywhere between 2 to 3 times a day.... After about 5 minutes of her having them, she is definitely calmed and seems to not be in as much pain.

I never tried the Humphrey's.... I started with the Hyland's and they worked for her, so I figured.... If it ain't broke.... don't try to fix it!

DD started that around 5 1/2 months, but it wasn't a comfort nurse, she was/is chowing down. Our ped said it was another indication she was ready for solids at her 6 month check up. Well, she's been eating solids for 6 weeks and her sleeping hasn't improved in that way at all.
