Sheet savers...
Anyone use them? I got from my shower - the sheet savers that tie to the crib bars. In the photo on the package it shows the baby laying with it's head on it... I wanted to use these b/c DD spits up a lot and I can't deal with changing sheets all night. However, I want to make sure these sheet savers are safe... the back is nylon.
Anyone else use them/know how safe they are to use for the baby's head to be on?

Re: Sheet savers...
I got them and after putting them inside the crib decided they were a hazard and returned them. This is my opinion but I just think no matter how tight you tie them little extremities can get stuck underneath. My mom saw how they installed as well and advised me not to use them.

Re: Sheet savers...
I used them with DS until he was moving all over the crib, then it was pointless. I mainly used it because he leaked through for maybe the first 3-4 months so I use to just lay them in his bassinet and tuck the ties underneath. It was so much easier throwing that in the hamper and putting another down instead of changing sheets at 1am. When I moved him into his crib I did tie they but sometimes he would spit up and he would miss the sheet saver so that's when I stopped using it.

Re: Sheet savers...
I had them and it was fine until she started rolling and moving. Then I worried about her head getting caught under them and stopped using them.

Re: Sheet savers...
I used one when DS was younger, but lately, his diapers have been holding everything in pretty well, so I've stopped.

Re: Sheet savers...
I think just like anything else with parenting, it's about your comfort level. DS is a Class A spitter and drooler so we need them. they're tied extremely tight and while he could slide his hand under, there's no way his big head could fit underneath so it's a nonissue for us.
