Shenandoah National Park - Luray?
We are thinking of going to see Shenandoah National Park in Virginia.
We are thinking of staying in Luray.
Any suggestions regarding what to see and where to say (cabin rentals) would be great appreciated.

I stayed at this hotel. It was really nice.
I did not realize it was almost 2 hours away from Luray. It is nice though.
Instead I would stay and eat at the Inn at Little Washington, Va. It is extremely expensive, but it is consistently the number 1 rated restaurant in DC. It is about an hour from Luray but most likely on your way down from NY.

You can also rent cabins inside the park, though they might be more rustic than private cabins. There are a couple of lodges in the park too. One looked nice from the outside, but I'm not sure what it's like inside.
