shoes around the house
do you have your LO wear shoes or anything around the house? DD is almost 1 and fully walking - we keep her barefoot. but i notice her feet seem cold. i try socks, but sometimes i think they are slippery (we have hard wood floors) and other times (most times) she just pulls off her socks
should i just let her walk barefoot or put her shoes on?

Re: shoes around the house
The Target nonslip socks work great for my boys. For some reason they never took those off, but they used to try and take the CP socks off. I also have read that they learn better without shoes. Now at 4 and 2 they take their shoes off and never complain. Well, DS2 after a while will say, "need socks on. My feeties are cold."

shoes around the house
DS started walking pretty early and we always just had him in socks or bare feet. He pulls his socks off all the time but we have heated floors so they are always toasty.

I keep him in his shoes because we have hardwood floors and he takes his socks off.

Re: shoes around the house
Both of my twins refuse to wear shoes or socks in the house. All hard wood floors. Sometimes, I put them back in their pjs if it is really cold. One of my girls will consider wearing her lined crocs as slippers.

We have hardwood floors, and ds Was and is usually barefoot. If it's cold, I put socks on him.

Re: shoes around the house
Nope. They would just pull them off and chew on them. They wear socks or barefoot when they pull their socks off. We have all hardwoods in the house.

Re: shoes around the house
we have hardwood floors. when DS doesn't have to be out of the house then i won't put shoes on him. i will put socks that have grippers on the bottom.

Socks or barefoot. We have hardwood too but she doesn't seem to care about being cold.

Re: shoes around the house
usually socks. But sometimes I'll put slippers on. They're pretty thin at the bottom (he's walking). I have the same issue that when he walks around his little feet are so cold.
