Short

Would you cut your hair. My hair is almost midback and i'm thinking about going for the chop. Whats the shortest you would ever cut your hair.

The shortest I've had my hair was a really short pixie - about 1/2 inch all around (except for the front & sides). Then I grew it into a normal pixie...and from there I've had just about every "in-between" style Now it's about an inch below my shoulder.

How short you cut it really deends on the type of hair you have.

I know i'm thinking about a chin lenght bob. I was just wondering how short other people would go.

I had it completely shaved at one point, with only my pink bangs.

If it wasn't for my DH having a thing for long hair (mine is mid-back as well), I'd cut mine back to chin length, especially while caring for an infant. Because of DH's influence, the shortest I would go would be just below the shoulders.

I wish I could pull off the short pixie cut, but at my height/size and with my face, I'd most definitely be mistaken as a man. I encouraged my girlfriend to do it and she looked awesome/hot with it. It changed her attitude as well. She seemed to have a lot more spunk when her hair was shorter.

I've done the chin length bob....It wasn't my favorite look on me, but I didn't hate it

dh likes it long as well. But its my hair if i want to cut it i would. I really never have had short hair since like 6th grade.

I've had it to a bob above my chin and I've had it long.....I take long hands down because the shorter I go, the most out of control my hair!

me personally - shoulder length - but that is because I have really thick hair and if it gets any shorter than that it poufs out. If I had finer hair though, I would go for a really short cut in a second, I love short hairstyles.

I don't think I look good with anything shorter than shoulder length. I've tried it, it just wasn't me.

My hair is very short right now. Layered, under the chin bob. I would love to go shorter but honestly, it's a pain not being able to pull my hair back so I'm probably going to grow this length out. It looks pretty. DH always told me he loved me with short hair, but we were looking through old pics this weekend, and he said, "You know? I think I like your hair better longer." Dork.

I cut my hair to an inverted bob in Oct, which the front was right at my chin...it was the shortest I've EVER had it, but the 10 inches that I chopped off I donated to Locks of Love...and its hair it grows back...and my hair is already 2-3 inches longer.

i cant believe more girls wont go shorter then chin lenght. I think most girls can wear chin lenght but are scared 2 chop it....

I like shoulder length, mostly b/c it's still easy to put up in pony tail or something when you want to keep it back.

See, my DH is the opposite. i dont know why its weird to me, but it is.. i always assumed most guys liked longer hair better My hair is mid back also, but he's always saying i should get like a shoulder length cut. I think he just thinks my hair is boring though b/c i never do anything with it.

The shortest I've ever cut my hair was super short - like an inch and a half long most everywhere. It was AWFUL, for me at least, but I didn't choose it for myself. I was a hair model for a friend who was training to be a hair dresser. I'm tall and my hair is curly so it was just BAD. I was picking up women left and right for about 6 months, which is all fine and good except I'm not gay. Now the shortest I'll go is chin length, but I'm been trying to grow my hair long right now.

I had it in that preppy Zach Morris type cut in high school, since then though the shortest I have had it is just about chin length

shoulder lenght is too short for me

might is at the bottom of my bra strap now and growing

I am growing it about 4 to 5 more inches- maybe 6 and let them cut an inch off

I had the pixie short cropped hair when I was in my 20's and I thought it suited me.

DH likes long hair and I've been growing it, but when it goes past a certain length it doesn't look good on me so I keep cutting it.

Is any1 else surprised that going chin lenght and shoulder lenght has the same amout of votes. Im shocked more girls wont go shorter then shoulders. When you get older you probally will try it.

I love my short hair!!! It gets wavy when it's getting too long, and the ends just kind of stick out. I usually get it cut every 8-9 weeks.

it depends on what type of hair - if i had straght hair - my hair would be short - but bc my hair is curly the shorter i go the wider it gets - so shoulder length is unfortunately my limit
