Short girls!
Can anyone recommend a good baby carrier? I'm on ly 5'1 and I've heard a lot of them hang too low if you're on the shorter side (I'd say "petite" but not feeling so petite these days! )

Re: Short girls!
we were GIVEN two bjorn's but i haven't tried them on yet....i think you may need a degree in engineering to get them on.
we were also given another - but Dave put that one on...i didn't. I thought it looked a little high up on him though (he's 6'4) - so it may be good.... I can look at it when i get home tonight if you agree (to see brand name and try it on myself)
see - i kinda feel like it's up HIGH on his chest - so this might be the best one for us 'shorter' gals...

Re: Short girls!
the lillebaby (it's kind of like an ergo, but a different brand) sits on you hips and has adjustable shoulder straps, so i don't think that would be a problem.
i think the sling carriers are the ones that usually get the complaints of being too low. they come in adjustable (the kind with the ring) and none adjustable (just a loop of fabric) and the latter ones are what can be a problem. i registered for a sling with a ring, personally.

Re: Short girls!
i think most(except for the sling) can be adjusted to any height.

I'm 5'2" and I registered for the bjorn....I'm hoping DH will use it more....but I kinda like it too...
If I don't like it I'll get something else, maybe a sling or whatever, I never heard shorter people having a harder time, I think you can adjust it
