Short-ish LP with lots of spotting, but Progesterone levels "normal"
Hi all:
I had a missed mc at 11 weeks in March. My LP even before my mc seemed to be about 10 days or so (hard to tell as I conceived my third month off of BCP, of which I charted two), with light spotting a day or so before AF's arrival. Since the mc, I have quite a lot of spotting so I went to see my doctor about it. She suggested we do a progesterone blood test, but since I have a short LP, she suggested we do it 7 days before I expected AF. My levels came back "normal" at 46 - was told anything over 30 is normal.
So does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?

I have NEVER heard of progesterone levels that high after
O. Mine was always low about 7 and should be between 10-20 is what I was told. I think the timing was just off. Spotting and short LP indicate a progesterone issue. I would ask fo rthe test again and it should be done at 7 dpo not 7 days before AF

I have a similar situation. You should ask for an endometrial biopsy. They can tell if the lining is where it should be for where you are in your cycle.
