shortbread cookies

anyone have a good reciepe?

Just tried them and they didn't hold shape. I have a cookie stamp I want to use and they spread so you can't really see the stamp.

Any tricks?

I always use ina garten's recipe. I would make sure the dough is really well chilled and try to work quickly with small batches to get them in the oven to avoid them spreading too much.

Thank you. That's the one I used. It was more of a sugar cookie then a shortbread cookie

Oh no. Maybe trythis one . It's the Americas test kitchen spritz cookie. You could pipe them out and then stamp it. Americas test kitchen does have a shortbread recipe but I've never tried it. The spritz cookies ate great though.
