Shortening
does shortening expire? i have a can in my cabinet but there no expiration date. i don't use it often.

according to this website that i it has no expiration date its too old. They started to put expiration dates on can of Crisco after 2006.

HAve you had it longer than 2 years? Better to be safe than sorry!! I would throw it out.
