Shot in the Dark... Letchworth State Park?

I know this is a long shot, but has anyone ever been camping in Letchworth State Park? It's supposed to have amazing waterfalls, and we wanted to plan a family camping trip for June.

I have never been camping there but I went last summer and OMG BEAUTIFUL!! I can not wait to go back.

What are you looking to find out, my bf's family lives close so they may have some insight.

Never been camping there, but the park is breathtaking. If you can go in the early fall- you won't be sorry. The leaves changing are incredible, and coupled with the falls- it is truly one of NYS little known secrets.

We go to Letchworth every Memorial Day with my extended family and camp from Wednesday/Thursday - Monday.

We usually camp in Loop 800. There are some loops that allow pets, but 800 is not one of them. I'm not familiar with the other loops since for the last 10 years we always stay in loop 800.

The camp sites are average size. The policy is one camper and one tent per site or two tents only. There is electric available and water spickets are available every few sites, etc.

The 800 loop is near an open playground, lots of kids bring their bikes, there is a convenience store if needed in the area.

As for weather.....it's cold at night at the end of May! The days can be spent wearing shorts or long pants depending on your comfort and then change into warmer clothes once the sun is down. Every year it has rained on and off, but only one year did it make us close up shop early and head home.
