Shot reactions...
Connor had his first shots today and all he wants to do is sleep or cry. He was screaming even after he ate. He's hardly been awake today. He had his shots around 10:45am this morning. It's not like him to scream and cry so much I feel bad. Are these normal reactions after getting shots? When Caiden got them they didn't bother him at all.
Thanks!

Re: Shot reactions...
James had his shots yesterday. He wasn't cranky (well, except for right when she gave him the needle!), but he slept sooo much afterwards. My friend that's a ped nurse told me to start massaging his thighs where he gets the shots right away to get the fluid to spread, otherwise a knot could form that is painful for them/makes them cranky. Hope Connor feels better soon!

Re: Shot reactions...
i always give tylenol for 24 hours after shots! don't want to take a chance that they are uncomfortable.

Re: Shot reactions...
DD is out of sorts for a couple of days after her shots (she's 5 months old). I give her tylenol regularly for the day of and the day after her shots. She really isn't herself until about 3-4 days after her shots. She doesn't cry a lot but she is sleepy, not very hungry and just different.
