Antonio has a fever of 102 heison tylenol. would a bath make him cold or more comfy?

Rub some alcohol on him too.



NEVER use rubbing alcohol (it can cause poisoning when absorbed through the skin) or ice packs/cold baths (they can cause chills that may raise body temperature).

Things have changed since we were kids. My neighbor did this to me when I had an extremely high fever. It was very common back then.Chat Icon

Oh my goodness, i gasped when I read this, VERY dangerous! careful that it is not too cold then the body's own interbnal temperature gauge turns up the heat, and if it is too warm temp goes up as well. My rule is a nice warm washcloth across the head and back of neck. But I only do this when my kids' temps reach 104 or higher.
