Should I be nervous
Ok, I hate bugs, big time. Yesterday night I killed one ant in the kitchen and one ant in bedroom. This past weekend we had all of our windows open since it was so lovely out. Should I be worried? My mom says just keep bleaching your sinks, tub and window sills and I should be ok. What do you ladies think?

I would buy a couple of traps and put them around the window sills or near to where you killed the other ones. It is unfortunately that time of the year for ants. yuck!

When we first moved in we found alot of ants. We just put a few traps down inside and sprayed outside by the doors.

I found out yesterday from a friend it's spider and ant season (so that could be why you've seen a lot recently - in our case, we have spiders).
A trap wouldn't hurt but, I wouldn't get too worried unless you see a whole trail of them.

I agree.
Also, Kerry, I found in our apt that if we cleaned the counters every night and made sure the crumbs were gone and the floor was washed at least once a week, we didn't have them around anymore.
But also buy some traps to put around the perimeter of windows or corners of rooms.

We spray around our entire house and especially by the doors/window/garage.
Also we spray the basement and all the pipes in the basement and under the sinks - since they can some in that way too.
We get stuff from HD and it says it is safe once it dries (we leave the house while it dries) - it's nothing like the lingering raid smell.
