Should I be worried-- non-pregnancy related.
I will preface that I am a bit of a hypcondriac (sp?).
The other day, I was touching my head-- and I noticed that I have like a dent on my head-- a little back from my hairline. I have never noticed this before-- and I freaked a little. I had DH touch it and he thought it was no big deal. I have been getting a ton of headaches lately also-- which does not help my paranoia.
Today, I was touching my head again-- and it feels almost like it's worse. Or maybe I was just touching in another spot.
I cannot believe that in my 33 years, I never noticed this dent in my head. I am freaking out like my skull is eroding or something. I just called my mom to ask her if I always had a dent-- but, I lost her on her cell and am waiting for her to call me back.

not pregnant, just lurking...but i want to tell you that i'm sure you're fine. if you're very worried, go to the doctor, but not to upset you...as I began to read your post, I had a little chuckle. Did you ever see the Cosby Show episode when Theo wants to shave his head and his girlfriend (I think her name was Lana, too!) was like, "You have a dent! And next to the dent you have a bump!" LOL I'm sure you're fine, randi. Take whatever pain killer you're allowed to take, and don't stress.

of course I starting googling the human skull-- and it's supposed to be perfectly round and solid!!
I know it's probably nothing-- but, you hear all these crazy stories of women discovering weird things when they are prego.

I have a dent also in the same spot, never looked into it but I have been fine. I find that a few people do have this..... I probably got dropped when I was an infant! lol Hang in there its probably nothing at all. Especially that you just noticed.

Re: Should I be worried-- non-pregnancy related.
You know, my husband has been complaining of the same exact thing this week. He keeps touching this one spot and says that it hurts when he keeps touching it. My obvious response was of course, "Stop touching it."
He complained again, and I offered to make a dr.'s appt, but he said no.
I have no idea what it is, or what you have, but I am sure it is nothing. Go to the doctor if you want to get it checked out.
