Should I drive or take the train?

My friend recently moved from Manhattan to Park Slope Brooklyn. I'm going to visit her on Saturday and if
I take the train to Flatbush Ave., it will be a 2 hour ordeal because I will have a 30 minute wait in Jamaica. Driving should take about 1 hr 15 minutes. What would the drive be like? I'm not a fan of cabs beeping, cars merging within inches of my new car, etc.

lol-This will probably be moved to travel!

Ok, next question. What will the parking be like? Will I be driving around the block for an hour at 5:00 pm on a Saturday looking for a spot? Are there many spots with meters? time limits? (I am staying overnight.) Chat Icon As you can tell, I'm usually a train type of gal.

i think parking is free on Sundays, but dont take my word 100% but it wont be free when you wake in the am on monday. I'd try and find a parking garage, your new car would be a lot safer then. even if its a hike to your friends from the garage it will be worth it
