Should I get a part time job?
DH works full time and makes great money.
I am a REA which means i can work from home but i also just started a distribution business with my sister.
i'm home 3 nights a week alone cause DH works until midnight. should i get a part time job? i get so bored sitting around doing nothing those 3 nights. i told DH i wanted to get a part time job and he said "we dont need the money that you need to do something else." he feels that working retail or waitressing is "beneath me"...whatever. money is money! and i'm the type of person who cant sit still. i'd rather be making money than sitting on the couch watching tv.
what do you think? any suggestions?

for me personally, I wouldn't do it unless I had to. but if that's what you want, go for it.

I agree...why not take this opportunity to do something you might enjoy and if that is a part-time job why not or..
How about a fun class. I'm in NJ and some of the schools offer fun evening classes like tennis, golf, sewing classes, how to buy antiques, just a a lot of different classes.
The classes are usually pretty inexpensive and it would get you out of the house.
Or how about a book club, that might be fun.

I agree! do something fun that you would enjoy.. I went to look for a p-time retail job to keep me occupied- and they were going to pay me $8.00 and they wanted me to commit to weekends...all the money I would be making would be going towards clothes-PLUS some-I figured it would probably cost me more money to work then to not... so I decided against it...

If I had the time and really didnt need the money, I would get a job that had great discount benefits like Pottery Barn - they give a 40% discount!
