Should I have another Lap for Endo? LONG
Hi ladies- back again
I have another sort of, WWYD question.
About 10 years ago I had a lap done for Endo and another the year after that. I *believe* the Dx was Stage 2 for the first one. I can't remember for the second- maybe stage 1? (I've been through so many tests/issues/diagnotics it has all run together).
So- here we are today and I have 2 healthy girls- the first conceived via IVF, the second a surprise miracle- given all of my issues.
We are planning on TTC again, but since I have zero IF coverage now, it's either au naturale or nada. We just don't have the funds to cover everything.
I have crazy long cycles and have only gotten AF 3 times this year. I am going to wait until she comes again to start TTC so I can use OPKs and start fresh.
Anyway-
Sex with DH has always bee somewhat painful. It started horrible, then got better- kind of off and on for years. After DD2 I felt pretty great sex wise and we were having normal intercourse like normal people (up until then we avoided actual intercourse).
The last 6 months or so I have been having the weird pain in my abdomen that kind of feels like a sharp, pulling pain. It comes and goes and I notice it especially when I move a certain way. Also- I get this achy/burning sensation on the right side of my lower back and pelvic area- also comes and goes. And now- the painful sex seems to be back with a vengeance. Usually I can find SOME way that doesn't hurt, but when we were DTD the other night I just couldn't continue- I had to stop DH. It sucked. (sorry for TMI)
I've been toying with the idea of making an appt. with my OB to discuss a laparoscopy. I can't decide if it's necessary, though. I'm pretty positive that it's there again but there's this fear that suggests maybe i'm being a hypochondriac or it's all in my head.
I don't know. I just don't know what to do.

First of all I'm sorry you are going through this
Endo pain is really hard to deal with. If I were you, I would go to my OB and see what they say. I was told after my lap, the best way to keep it at bay was to go on BC pills. Obv I wasn't going to do that bc we were TTC. It may be a good idea to get the lap, TTC for #3 and then go on the pill to keep it from coming back. You know your body. And if your pain is back, the endo probably is back.
It's only been about 1.5 years since my lap and just last month I started to get my old symptoms back

I had surgery for stage 4 endo in march. If u r having those pains and discomfort again it is likely that the endo has returned. You know your body and if u think it is back it very well could be. I would def talk to your doctor. I am a firm believer that the removal of endo helps your fertility but that is just my opinion and experience. Good luck!!

So, I think I've made the decision to go for it.
I got AF yesterday for the fourth time this year. This is the most regular/normal I've ever been in my whole life. I'm afraid to screw with it, but I think it needs to be done.
Aside from having bad cramps, this morning I had to go to the bathroom and I was in agony standing in my kitchen because of the pain. When I was able to go, there was a good amount of blood (sorry for tmi). That has happened once or twice before, but I never realized it was related to my Endo. I feel like it's just getting worse. Time to take care of it.
