I hate ceiling fans but our plasma lets off so much heat that we get so hot watching tv in our den....

Ok, I've done a lot of shopping this summer... 
(yes, we bought it in green. It was my husband's choice between green and black, I swear I had nothing to do with it!!)
For the garden...
Recycled rubber stepping stones
Our rain barrel (SO EXCITED about this one!)
Soaker hose to hook up to the rain barrel and run through my shade garden, for constant moisture.
Rain gauge, so I know when to water. The little bee rises from the top of the flower when there's enough water in it. 
Tubtrugs which I can use to put ice & drinks in for parties, gardening stuff, laundry, etc. We got pistachio green, sky blue and lavender.
Hose guides so I don't keep snaking the hose through my planting beds and hurting my flowers!
Little bit of garden art, because I like birds and I like green and it's cute.
A statue for my garden
I'm striving for a wildlife friendly lawn, including bees - they are important pollinators! So I got a bee house that I'm going to hang from my dogwood tree, made from recycled bamboo.
Compost aerator for my newly built compost bins

My first and so far only home purchase on something new LoL We purchased used items though, tables, antique lamp. Our mailbox! Just need very vintage house numbers for my red door.

I'm loving orange lately too! Believe it or not, it kind of looks good with lime green.
With the exception of the last four items, I got everything at Gardeners.com . You can make your own rain barrel for a heck of a lot less money than I bought it for. But it was a compromise with Rusty because he hates the barrel-looking ones, and it was his decision to get one that looked like a pot.
I just got a $75. gift card to their site for my birthday too but I'm waiting for the new seasonal stuff to come in before spending it!

White decor & teal glass vase from IKEA.
The starfish are from Micheal's.
Blue bud vases from Micheal's on clearance. 
These are small planters, couldn't resist them.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Ordered 2 of the 6' garlands with multi-colored lights for my window boxes:
A tree skirt for the dining room
and 10 various European glass Santa ornaments
From Target, a few outdoor light-up pumpkins in various sizes/different faces.
From Tuesday Morning & HomeGoods, lots of glittered halloween items (mostly black glittered items).
