Keranique (30 day trial) - my fingers are crossed that I don't immediately hate it because apparently it takes 3-4 months before you notice a difference.

Can I ask why you are trying the Keranique? Are you losing hair or find that it's thinning?
I am curious about this for myself.

I've lost a lot of my hair over the past 5-10 years, maybe half of it. It bugs that crap out of me how obvious my scalp is, so I figured I'd give this a shot. It seems to have great reviews if you stick with it. I just hope it doesn't screw up my coloring & keratin treatments. Chat Icon

ETA: And I'm pretty certain my hair loss is genetic. My mom has lost a substantial amount of her hair, so I know what lies ahead for me.

Re: Show me your recent purchases...

Just to share about keranique; my hair started thinning about 6 years ago, in the front. By now it's pretty bad. (Had all testing done, no medical reason. Bad genetics.) Started rogaine, which is the same active as keranique. Did it for about 6 weeks and I lost so much hair I had to stop. I just couldn't continue with it and wait out the initial shedding stage. The shedding was so bad, I look worse than I ever have in 6 years. I know that you are supposed to stick with it and the regrowth will eventually start, but I look terrible and I was scared that it would just keep falling out. It also dried my hair into straw, and I tried both the foam and the liquid (it's really difficult to apply to your scalp without anything getting on your hair, liquid or foam). Waiting now for my hair to go back to normal and my "regular" thinning. Hope you have better results than I did.

See, this is my fear...and sorry to read that it happened to you. Chat Icon I've read similar reviews/comments where users complained of exactly that: dry hair and hair loss.

I have the Rogaine for women foam, but I was horrible with keeping up with it at night, mainly for the reason you stated...it was impossible to get on my scalp. So the can sits in my cabinet full. Chat Icon

Thanks.
Yes, I thought the foam would be much easier than the liquid but it wasn't. It just got all over my hair. The liquid would drip. Even if I did tiny amounts at a time, very slowly and carefully on the balding spots, it somehow got all over my hair.
I think it is probably easier for men who have larger bald areas to use.
I will be happier now if I can just have my old thinning hair back.

Do you have a designed room for all your makeup? LOL In all seriousness, you should start a product review and application blog.

how is their stuff?
I always see cute stuff, but always afraid to guess on sizing.

For all clothing items they give you a sizing chart. In some im a small, some a medium. So far ive really liked everything i ordered and fits well.

I wish! Chat Icon

In regards to a blog...I wish I had that kind of time! I don't know how other people do it, especially those with kids! Plus anything that might require photos is a deterrent for me. I hate being photographed. Chat Icon

For the record, disappointed in this line. I discontinued using the products because I felt like the shampoo & conditioner were washing my Keratin treatment out as well as drying my hair out.

I liked the dropper application better than the Rogaine mousse, but I discontinued the minoxidil as well. Chat Icon

Have you ordered from this website before? Is it legit? I'm so skeptical of places with cute/affordable clothes...I feel like its too good to be true and they're from China!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE shoptiques.com. I have been ordering from the site since I discovered them almost a year ago.

Items are sold from individual brick and mortar stores/boutiques. I have never had a problem with quality of clothes, shipping or returns. Free shipping when you spend $100 and free 7 day return policy.

One of the dresses that I wanted wasn't available in my size so I called the store (name is listed when you click on the item) and they found my size on the mannequin. Within minutes, they updated the availability online and I was able to place in cart.

Since items are sold from different stores, you receive individual packages (unless you order multiple items from 1 store). Clothes are wrapped in tissue paper with a hand written thank you note from the shop.

After you place your first order, you will receive an email from a shoptiques.com stylist. You can contact them via email or cell phone for any inquires. SO helpful and friendly.

If you have any more questions, let me know.

This is so good to know. I've been looking for new places to shop. They have really cute stuff.
