Showing Signs of Age
Ever look at yourself in the mirror and think you are starting to look your age? I always thought (and people have told me) that I look younger than my age but recently when I get real close to the mirror, I see lines around my eyes that were never there. Its part of life, and I am not sad or upset about it but it makes you think how fast time flies.

Re: Showing Signs of Age
Sure, I do. I'm 28 but I think I look young, but I notice little things....I was a slave to SPF and always took good care of my face, so now I'm glad for that. I notice I gain weight much easier than I used to; that's the main issue I notice.

Re: Showing Signs of Age
That happened to me a few months ago. I just woke up one day and totally freaked about aging, imagining I saw crows feet. Wisely, DH denies he sees any lines.
I asked my dermatologist what I am supposed to be doing. Sunscreen during the day, and the cream I am using for acne (Tazorac) is an anti-wrinkle cream, so thats enough for now.

Re: Showing Signs of Age
yep, even worse I look at my older sisters and dread having that many wrinkles. We all have bad sun damaged skin from when we were little.

I am the opposite, I don't think I look my age but when I look at old pictures. Zoinks -- I looked like a baby compared to now.

Re: Showing Signs of Age
I scrutinize my face constantly. Stare at it from different angles, distances. There are faint lines there but I'm accepting them.
I also study my hands. I moisturize them everyday and try to remember the way that they look now so that one day, in maybe 30 or 40 years, when I look down to see the translucent skin and veins and maybe sun spots, I'll remember how even toned and young they look now.

Re: Showing Signs of Age
I see signs of age, definitely. Mostly around my eyes. Not just crows feet, but wrinkles. And on my chest from sun damage.
My metabolism has slowed too.
I've also started noticing my skin on my hands. And you know what promted that??? Star and US Weekly magazine showing pictures of celebrities hands and asking which celebrity was older based on her hands!!

Re: Showing Signs of Age
Thank god I'm not the only one. No grays yet and no spots but my metabolism has practically come to a screeching halt and the crows feet are really starting to show.

Thank you sweetie! Well I look back fondly when I met DH and I was a size zero and ate anything and everything I wanted.

Re: Showing Signs of Age
Not so much in my face but I definately starting to see signs of aging. I will be 27 next week & I am constantly looking over my body to see the changes!
I have noticed that my metabolism has slowed down a lot. It's not as easy to drop the lbs as it once was no matter how strict I am.
i have noticed that my skin in my chest region is showing signs from sun damage from when I was younger.
Plus I have noticed that my boobs are starting to be not as perky but nothing too noticeable yet
No grey hairs here either!

Re: Showing Signs of Age
actually, i think i just have thin skin, because sometimes the veins in my hands look a little blue and pop. What can you do? The skin itself is smooth and soft and no spots!
I have on one outer thigh some tiny purple veins, like thread veins; all the pressure I put on my legs in ballet. Gee, thank God I'm going back to it! LOL.
