shrimp recipe
I have some fresh shrimp I need to cook for dinner tonight. I was planning to go to the store and get some ingredients to make a scampi dish, but my little one is sick and I don't want to drag her out. I am missing lemon for a scampi. I was thinking of breading the shrimp and doing a shrimp parmigiana, but not sure what to serve with it. Normally I would just do pasta, but we had pasta last night, so not sure if DH will want it again. Any suggestions of what to serve with it? or any other quick shrimp recipes?
Thanks!

yum..I love shrimp parm. I would put salad, garlic bread on side and you're good to go.

Roasted Shrimp and Broccoli
RECIPE
Hmm, this sounds interesting. I don't have the lemon, but perhaps with just some oil, garlic and seasoning it would be just as good. I was saving my broccoli for tomorrow night, but maybe I will switch it up.

Yes, you can omit the lemon.

You could do a stir fry with soy sauce and whatever veggies you have and serve over rice.

Shrimp cocktail. Boil then chill shrimp. Mix fresh horseradish, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce to make cocktail sauce. You can also Google cold shrimp salads.

Re: shrimp recipe
Thanks for all the suggestions! I think I am going to try the shrimp and broccoli - but spin it a bit more italian and serve with polenta. My neighbor is bringing over some fresh baked clams, so I think it should all go together nicely and I have all the ingredients needed! I really wanted the shrimp parm, but I have been making myself parm sandwiches everyday for lunch (pregnancy craving) so I think it is better to switch it up!

Re: shrimp recipe
This looks delicious! It is similar to a shrimp oreganata dish I make. I can't believe I didn't even think to make that the other day. I might have to add this to my Super Bowl food since now I can't stop thinking about it!
