Does anyone have a recipe for pasta with shrimp and scallops...

...but in a light white sauce (like a lemon butter) not an alfredo or red sauce. Thanks

not sure if you need this, but I usually make this with just shrimp, but you could definitely throw scallops in as well. this is for about 1 lb of seafood, so adjust amounts accordingly.

2-3 gloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, minced
all to taste:
salt
pepper
oregano
crushed red pepper flakes
about 1 cup of nice dry white wine

saute garlic and onion in olive oil (about 1 tbsp) in a large pan until soft and fragrant. add salt, pepper, oregano and crushed red pepper. add seafood. cook until shrimp start to become opague. add wine (add more or less to suit your taste)

cook until seafood is just cooked and alcohol flavor burns off. adjust seasonings. if you don't follow the rules (I don't ) hit it off with some freshly grated parm.

serve on top of any cooked pasta.

it's very simple, and a much less oil/butter intense version of a scampi. it's always a hit in our house.
