Shutter color suggestions
I have light yellow/cream color siding. Right now we have old faded green shutters. I don't like the green. My sister thinks dark blue. I think black. Any other suggestions? Pics? Or votes for blue or black... Help I can't decide!

My roof is light brown now, but we need a new one desperately. I'm thinking of a dark brown or black for the roof.
The color of my house is exactly that of the first pic.

I would say the gray too.
Or, even without.....
DH and I right now are in the process of adding a new roof, front porch, new siding and windows.
We are planning to do edging around the windows instead of shutters.
A lot of the upgraded houses in our neighborhood went this route and I like it more and you don't have to worry about the shutters fading.
Just another thought.
I thought it was odd when DH first suggested it, but then I looked around and I saw what he meant.

Not a fan of the grey. It looks like faded black shutters to me. Asides from blue and back, you could do a red color.

Black would be better than gray if there are other black elements in the view(like the front door or railings). Otherwise, it will draw your eye to the shutter first. Also, I would do shutters only on the smaller windows or increase the size on the bigger windows. No offense to whoever posted that first pic but the big double window with a puny shutter looks off scale wise.
