Suggestions for color theme in DH's new office?
My hubby is opening up his own chiropractic practice next month. The place was just built and the sheetrock is going up today....so we are painting on Saturday and Sunday. (quote for a painter to do it was $4000!!!! )
Anyway, he wants his office to be warm and inviting, more of a 'home' feeling than a medical office feeling. We are going tonight and tomorrow to look at paint colors and carpet....but we don't even know where to begin.
Any ideas for what colors(s) to use? He was thinking of having an accent wall in the waiting room area. At first we were thinking browns/tans/blues but I'm not so sure. Ideas?

I love the combination of blue walls and dark wood furniture with a light tan rug.

I love those colors too.
Also a nice light sage green is very calming, especially in a doctors office.
GL to your DH in his new practice.

Re: Suggestions for color theme in DH's new office?
Warmer soothing colors especially in a chiropractors office. People are going there to get an adjustment and de-stress most of the time I'd definitely do darker furniture and maybe a sage green or warm blue. A think a light tan rug in an office is not such a great idea since people will be tracking through it in all kinds of weather with shoes. There are articles online on how to choose the right medical office paint color to help soothe patients. Good Luck to him.
