sick 5 m/o eating less

is this normal?
my DD ate 7-8oz just 2 weeks ago
then she dropped to 6oz... and spitting up and pushing it away/ i called her ped and he said shes teething and her gums might be irritated .

now shes been sick since thursday and down to 4oz :( but ive also been giving her tea and she does eat more often/ on demand whenever shes cranky



im gonna call the ped and see what he says but just wondering if this happened to anyone
(shes not on solids yet)

Totally normal for them not to eat as much. As long as they're having their bottle and the diapers wet it's ok.

DS went through the same thing. If your DD isn't really taking too much try pedialyte to keep her hydrated. When she starts getting better she'll eat more
