Siding color for selling house
What color siding and shutters would u go with if ou were looking to sell?

Does the house really need new siding, as in, is the exterior crumbling?
Because if you are just trying to improve the cosmetics of the home to sell, I think new siding is a big investment that you won't recoup with your selling price. It may help you sell faster and attract more buyers in a competitive selling environment, but just know that it likely won't increase your value enough to offset the cost of doing the work. Generally, I don't recommend undertaking major, costly projects prior to selling (if the sole goal is to increase the value to buyers). Financially, you usually come out ahead if you sell "as is."
Curb appeal is important, but could you possibly enhance curb appeal in less costly ways? -- E.g., power wash existing siding, landscaping (plant colorful flowers, trim shrubbery), paint the front door and mailbox.

Personally, I would rather have old siding in a color I didn't like instead of new siding in a color I didn't like. I'd feel bad getting rid of new siding just because I didn't like the color. It's impossible for you to know exactly what color the new buyers will want (there's like a dozen shades of "beige" siding....).
Like Christine said, it's much better to spruce up what you already have instead of spending big bucks on something.

A good example of my previous post. I personally don't like grey siding (even though it's one of my favorite colors for most other things), and I don't like white shutters, so if you appealed to 8ternity, you wouldn't appeal to my tastes....

Depends on the style of house,roof color etc.
In some cases I could see doing the siding on a house to sell. If everything else is drone and the siding is a major detractor.
