I totally agree with Red. Yeah she's dumb for keeping him around after he cheated but I would say the same thing to the woman who lived under MY roof, took care of MY kids, and also "took care" of my Fiance... she disrespected her and her home, not just her relationship, and if it was me, I'd want to kick her azz too, regardless of what happened with me & the guy. Don't think it's pathetic at all.

To clarify my pathetic comment, i find her pathetic for publicly speaking about kicking this nanny's butt, BUT continues to date her cheating ex fiance and has never come out to say anything bad about him since it happened. Some of you might call it love...i call it pathetic. JMO

But she wasn't under HER roof or taking care of HER kids- she was under his ex wife's roof (who got divorced because he cheated- so i heard) and his EX'S kids, not hers...

Not that it makes it any better, but its not like Sienna was the one who hired her or paid her or lived with her. WHo knows if she even knew her??

Ahh... didn't know that!! I thought it was THEIR nanny! Chat Icon

I'd still want to kick her ***.

I see your point about not putting it out there in public but why the hell not put it out there? It's the truth. MOST people would probably feel that way and of course wouldn't say it. I kinda have to give her props for just coming out with the truth at the risk of looking "pathetic" to some and stating what she truly feels. Nothing wrong with honesty.

All these celebs with their BS "we remain the best of friends and wish nothing but happiness for each other" blah blah blah... trying to be all gracious and what not. It's kinda cool that for once a woman came out with the TRUTH.

Then she should never ask the press to respect her privacy- which she did during the break up. Its just absurd!!! You can't open up to them about your personal life when you want and then ask them to go away when you want. Its one way or the other...

Good point- I think when one becomes a celeb (especially those who choose careers like acting where you are in the public eye) you unfortunately have no control over the press.

I wonder how many stars who b*tch about the press and their lack of privacy once said, "I want to be famous". I bet a lot of them did. It's the price one pays for wealth and celebrity.

That's not true anymore... most know that if they don't want their private life in the tabloids- don't talk about it. The one's who don't, live with it. You don't see Gweneth or Madonna or some other stars talking about their relationships anymore....

When you are bragging about your happiness, you can't expect people to leave you alone when it all ends...

ETA: Recently Jennifer Aniston said she learned her lesson by talking about her relatinoship with Brad at the beginning. Notice she has been pretty quiet about her relationship with Vince...

then why was Jennifer aniston on Oprah the other day talking about her HURT. Her feelings about her divorce.
They do pick and chose what about their lives they want to talk about....

Same thing with Uma Thurman...
And anyone who goes on these shows...

They pick and choose what and when they feel comfortable saying to the media...

it certainly is still done!

Was she talking about Vince- I didn't realize it.

I'm not saying its not done. I'm saying it not done by people who want the media to stay out of their personal lives.

She can ask - the press doesn't have to listen. That's part of her life as a celeb.

And it's not always the case that if they don't talk about it, it won't be in the press. Look at Jennifer Lopez... barely acknowlegdes her marriage to Marc Anthony - but the press are always hounding them. You gave the next perfect example -- Aniston won't talk about Vince, yet they are hot papparazzi couple #2 nowadays.

NO..and that proves my point...
that celebs do share info, info that they pick and chose, what they feel they want to talk about

Yes...Jen and Vince stay together, they will be otu of the press before long. And how often are J.Lo and Marc Anthony in the press anymore.

I'm not saying the press will every totally go away, but it will happen a lot less in the long run. If they have nothing to say- what are the press going to report? They are still together? That's boring.

Re: Sienna Miller to Nanny: Beware

So it isn't all that odd that Sienna once finding out about her FI that she needed time to deal with that...
and at a later date just may talk about it...

That is EXACTLY what Uma Thurman did.

I agree with this. Some celebrities make a point not to discuss their personal life and protect their privacy and are able to do it for the most part - Meryl Streep, Robert Deniro are a couple of examples.

true....but just because they CHOSE to open up about somethings doesn't mean that they will open up about everything

Shelley said "You can't open up to them about your personal life when you want and then ask them to go away when you want. Its one way or the other..."

and that is completely false
almost all of them do...on their terms

ETA...i have seen interviews of Meryl Streep who talks about her personal life, her children, her marriage....etc

But the true gossip never comes from what the celebs say. It comes from what "sources close to them say" and of course speculation on shots grabbed by the paparrazzi.

For example... you hardly ever see papparazzi pics of Madonna & Guy... but you DO see lots of stolen shots of Marc & J.Ho. I think it really only depends on how big of star you are at the moment, not how much you talk or don't talk about your relationship.

Anyone who says they wouldn't want to kick the "other persons" arse IMO is full of it

Yes, i was not going to ever be friends with her, but i put total blame in my ex for making the relationship fail.

And being in love is fine, but I for one find it pathetic just because I don't believe anyone can ever go back to having full trust in someone who would do this to them. JMO.

I agree with this......Ali's comments.....
