Sigh..I hate interviewing...
I'm interviewing someone today that misspelled FedEx - Fed Es... what, WHAT was she thinking???
Is this too picky? It's on the second line of her resume!

Not if it's actually some place she worked! Plus, if it is, why is she abbreviating, shouldn't it be spelled out???

I'm with you. The resume is the first thing I am going to see, and if there are glaring errors on it, I do think it reflects poorly on how well prepared a candidate is. Even if she is not a good speller, she should have someone else go over it for her.

Ugh - it got worse the more I read her resume. I didn't even interview her. My admin said that when asked how she deals with difficult people her answer went to something like "I just march right into their office & tell them..." Yes, I'm sure that'll work well with one of the owners of our company.
